Cookbook sales commence
To help defray the cost of the New Library, one of the fundraising projects of the Library Capital Campaign Committee is a "Northwest Corner Cookbook" containing recipes contributed by our friends and neighbors throughout Burrillville.
While the cookbook won't be published until sometime in February we are now accepting advance payment for those who would like to give a cookbook as a holiday gift this year. The gift certificate can be redeemed when the books arrive later this winter.
The Committee would also appreciate any advance sales or payment for books you may have reserved so that those funds can help defray the up-front printing costs. The book will have a handsome hard-cover, spiral binding featuring a picture of the New Library and a logo reflecting the Committee's slogan for the library project: "Cornerstone of the Community".
With brisk sales of the cookbook, as much as $10,000 could be realized for the Building Fund.
The Cookbook sells for $10.95 with checks payable to -JMS Library Capital Campaign-. Purchases can be made at the library or mail payment with a SASE to P.O.Box 306, Harrisville, RI 02830.
