Final environmental permits granted!

Government bureaucracies move slowly, but the state and federal agencies that had to approve construction plans have finally given the green light! With little left standing of the three old mill buildings, attention now will turn to excavating, sorting, removing, crushing, filling, etc. etc. -- all of the steps that must be taken to create a clean site that can support the weight of a nearly 25,000-square-foot library. Things will soon get very lively...
